DEFCON is a brilliant online multiplayer simulation of world-wide thermonuclear war.

You play the part of a military Commander concealed deep within an Underground bunker. Your duty - to effectively exterminate your adversary's civilian populace whilst paralyzing their ability to assault your own. Start by dispaching your battleships, submarines and bombers in order to obliterate your enemy's defences. Scramble together your alliances but remember only one can stand victorious.

Build up your pre-emptive strike before one of your alleged allies gets the same plan. Choose the best moment for betrayal, obliterating your opponents with an apocalyptic thermonuclear barrage, but get it wrong and their catastrophic counter attack will annihilate you!

It's Global Thermonuclear War, and no one wins.
But maybe - just maybe - you can lose the least.

Review:
It's a good game. Makes you want to get a giant projector screen in your basement and a boardroom table.

Review:
I played the demo for this game and it's really quite awesome. As you don't have to worry about macro-management of tons of units or resource gathering, you can REALLY focus purely on tactics...and it shows.
