Buntfu Out of Business

We have recently discovered that Buntfu.com, a community-based PC vendor where anyone could buy and sell their Linux or BSD computer at no cost, has gone out of business.  It was home to numerous businesses selling computers with linux or no OS.

Ronnie Whisler, the site owner and entrepreneur, is unavailable for comment. We do not know for sure why the site has shut down, though a reasonable assumption would be that it was not making enough money to support its operating costs. Before it closed, buntfu.com was supported by pay-per-click advertising, a method becoming very difficult to rely upon these days.

This is a loss to the Linux community. One door has closed; will another open?

Buntfu, you will be missed.
