Humble Bundle Indeed
The "Humble Bundle" seems to have taken an interest in earning its name. The games included in the latest package -- Humble Botanicula Debut -- are nothing to boast about.
The title game, Botanicula, is an initial release, sure to be full of bugs. The trailer vider was not the least bit inspiring. Machinarium is making its second humble appearance; not a bad game but pretty short for the adventure genre. Samorost is also making a second appearance.
Kooky: a film? Since when are films part of Humble Bundle?!? Especially a film about a toy, where one of the characters is named "Goddamn"? Who exactly is the target audience here and why would Linux/Mac/Windows gamers find value in this Czech film?
The trailer for Windowsill was bordering on pathetic.
Charity: $214,637 spent on the bundle and a mere 380 acres preserved? That's $560 spent on the bundle to preserve 1 acre. Doesn't seem like people are feeling very generous and/or the World Land Trust isn't very cost-effective.
We can't complain too much since we set the price, but suggesting that the bundle is worth about $53 USD is a complete joke. Sorry Humble Indie Bundle, you won't be getting any money from me for this garbage.
