Upcoming Site Redesign
Just a note to our loyal fans that I will be redesigning the site in the coming days to weeks.
The purpose of Linux Deal is to simplify the process of making purchases for the average Linux user. We will be enhacing the simplicity of the site as a symbol of our vision. Plus shoppers tend to like the simpler website designs and we love to please our visitors!
Astonishingly, the plans I had for the new design are very similar to the latest redesign of OpenCart, so I will be using their template as a guide for us yet again (with some major modifications of course). OpenCart has included some features such as AddThis and jQuery's FancyBox for image pop-ups that I had already added to our site. The OpenCart developers and I clearly share the same ideas for shopping cart design.
I am always seeking feedback from our visitors, so if you'd like to see an improvement in our site design, please let me know. I look forward to releasing this exciting new design to improve our ability to help the Linux community!
